ABOUT THE AUTHOR

DAVEY HAVOK is a singer and songwriter for the bands AFI and Blaqk Audio. He is also an actor who has appeared in numerous films and on Broadway in Green Day’s American Idiot.  Havok has designed fashion, jewelry, and footwear.  Born in 1975 in Rochester, NY, Havok moved to California with his family when he was five.  He dropped out of UC Berkeley to pursue his music career.  Today Havok divides his time between Oakland and Los Angeles.
